Bookends On Tap Lite is a reference management app for your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. You can search PubMed, PubMed Central, Google Scholar, JSTOR, Web of Science (requires access privileges and ip authentication), arXiv, and the Library of Congress for references and download them, with pdfs (requires access privileges), to your personal library. Use the built-in browser to access Web sites (EZProxy compliant). Organize your references by groups (static and smart), annotate your pdfs directly within Bookends On Tap, and email references from your device to yourself or others in a form suitable for reading or importing into reference management applications.
Bookends On Tap Lite integrates seamlessly with Bookends on the Mac. Wirelessly sync your synchronize references, groups, and pdf attachments with Bookends, and have full access to your references and sources whether youre at your desk or on the go.
The Lite version has a 20 reference limit on the number of matches that can be found in a single Internet search and on the number that can be stored in your personal database. Annotations can be made to PDFs within Bookends On Tap Lite, with watermarked text. PDF Annotation can be turned of in Settings.
